The 77 edition of the Trade Fair for Young People’s Fashion has opened its Doors today. The opening of the event has counted on the assistance of the general director of consumption and trade, Silvia Ordiñaga, which highlighted the quality and design of the collections displayed in FIMI until next Sunday at Feria Valencia.
200 brands showing at the contest presented to buyers from more than 40 countries their collections for the season spring-summer 2014. Spanish children’s fashion provides for export this year 29 % of its production, a figure that doubles the percentage of the previous year. FIMI becomes a window to the world that allows the exhibiting firms to open up to new markets.
The FIMI catwalk FASHION SHOW has counted on the participation of 12 companies very important in the panorama of fashion: Barcarola, Bimbalina, Boboli, Dolores Cortés, jib, JoJo, La Quinta, Larrana, Lea-Lelo by Susana Mazzarino, Lourdes, Oca Loca and blonde Kids. At the end of the parade an emotional tribute has taken place to the designer Dolores Cortés, precursor of the swimwear in Spain and discoverer of the elastic tissue.
This afternoon the catwalk dresses luxury with collections of 17 firms specialized in communion and ceremony. On the Magical Day catwalk, companies Barcarola, Valkids, Capras, Carmy Luxe and Rosa CLARÁ, Conguitos, Creaciones Charo, of los Angeles, Elena Rubio, Hortensia Maeso, Kiriki, Larrana, Magara, magnificent Lulu, OlaCaracola, Pilar de el Toro, blonde men and Kids.
Also, this afternoon at the IVAM, Institute of modern art, the exhibition “Happy Little Grils’ will take place, the inauguration where the designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada shows their full creative potential.[:].
