Today the 79th edition of the International Trade Fair for Young People’s Fashion (FIMI) commenced. A total of 300 national and international companies presented their collections for the spring/summer 2015 to professionals of the sector. This new edition of FIMI has exceeded the number of participating brands at the last edition in June 2013 by 50 %. Buyers from more than 30 countries will get to know the offers which they will present all weekend at the Recinto Ferial at the Case de Campo in Madrid.
In addition to the trade show is FIMI FASHION WEEK which is the epicentre of young people’s fashion. An extensive program of processions in which in total 38 participating companies specialised in young people’s fashion will show their new proposals.
In the first procession 10 large participating companies such as N+V Villalobos + Nieves Álvarez, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Oca Loca, Piccola Stella, JV José Varón, Sanmar, Barcarola, Little Paula by Carmy, Mayoral y Tuc Tuc showed their proposals for the next season to a large audience and media.
In the afternoon it was time for swimwear, the first and unique procession specialising in swimwear at a global level, with the collections of companies DC Kids Dolores Cortés, Oh! Soleil, JV José Varón y N+V Villalobos + Nieves Álvarez. Additionally in the last procession, the following companies showed their proposals: Bóboli, Tutto Piccolo, Tartaleta, Bonnet á Pompom, Oh! Soleil, Lion of Porches, Lea Lelo + Susana Mazzarino, Bimbalina, Foque, Condor, Pan con Chocolate y Larrana.
The programm continues tomorrow with even more fashion. In the afternoon the main protagonists will be communion and ceremony wear in a procession which counts on the companies Les Enfants de L’eden by Hortensia Maeso, Miquel Suay, Barcarola, Larrana, Magnífica Lulú, Carmy y Paqui Barroso.
