FIMI STARTS THE PROMOTION OF THE JULY EDITION WITH STRENGTH

The International Children’s and Young People’s Fashion Fair, FIMI, has given the go-ahead gives  to hold its next edition from the 4th to 6th July at the Fairgrounds House in Madrid. This international competition entrains its 79th edition which will present all news and trends for the next Spring-Summer 2015.

FIMI will strengthen the expanding exhibition spaces, corresponding to the request and the great success in January.

Thus, 90% of the exhibitors expressed their satisfaction with the proposed new FIMI, a trade fair focused on children’s fashion. They are looking to open up an all children’s universe including a traveling exhibition as well as a much more international and low cost format. Furthermore, 80% of the participating firms have confirmed that their expectations have been exceeded.

“The goal is to present a showcase combining all offers which relate to the children’s world and to create an area in which business takes place. Although internationalization remains the main subject in our promotion strategy, it has already been mentioned that the number of foreign clients, has exceeded our target by 15%”, states Exhibition Director, Alicia Gimeno.

FIMI has started its promotional campaign among buyers from markets which are considered to be objective for the sector in adavance, in order to increase the assistance of professionals who are high purchasing powers.

Concerning the next proposal, FIMI is already organizing the ICEX-Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade- missions, including UAE, United States and Russia. Moreover, the contest works with ASEPRI, the Spanish Association of Children Products and with CFW -Children’s Fashion Europe- the hosted clients program.
