88% of FIMI Summer Showroom exhibitors positively value the 99th edition of the event

FIMI Summer Showroom has exceeded all expectations, establishing itself as the reference event in the children’s fashion, swimwear, footwear, accessories and basket sector with more than 88% of exhibitors satisfied with the commercial performance of their presence at the fair, as well as an 8% increase in visitors compared to the previous edition. The new two-day format and high-level networking have created a unique atmosphere, where brands and professionals have connected under the same purpose: redefining the future of the industry.

Exhibitors rate FIMI Summer Showroom positively

FIMI Summer Showroom closes its 99th edition with a very positive assessment from the participating brands, according to the results of the survey carried out after the event. Exhibitors have highlighted the effectiveness of the event in terms of promotion and visibility of their brands, as well as its contribution to the growth of their businesses.

Virtually all exhibitors, according to the survey carried out by the event during the last day, highlight the quality of the visitors. Furthermore, more than 70% of the firms present already confirm their interest in participating in the next edition, in view of the results of this event.

International buyers bet on Spanish fashion

FIMI Summer Showroom has taken a strategic leap in its latest edition with the implementation of an international business agenda, specifically designed to connect Spanish brands with high-profile buyers from 30 countries. 92% of exhibitors rate positively the new tool implemented in this edition to schedule appointments with international buyers, which has allowed better planning of visits and, therefore, greater use of the stay at the fair.

The success of this program has been possible thanks to the institutional alliance between ICEX, IVACE and Cámara Valencia, which together with ASEPRI and Feria Valencia have created a comprehensive support ecosystem to promote the foreign projection of the participating firms.

While Europe continues to be the main destination for Spanish children’s fashion – with countries such as Italy, Portugal, Greece and the United Kingdom leading the way – other transatlantic markets show notable growth. The United States, Mexico, Colombia and various Asian countries emerge as territories with special potential for Spanish collections, confirming the growing international demand for the design and quality of our brands.

FIMI will celebrate its 100th edition in January

The next edition of FIMI, the 100th, will be held from January 21 to 23, 2026, within the framework of the sixth edition of Babykid Spain+FIMI. This event is thus consolidated as the only showcase of the children’s universe in Europe to show the latest fashion, footwear, accessories, childcare, toys and related products from all over the world.
