THE REVITALIZATION COMMITTEE SELECTS THE NUDITOS FOR THE NEXT FIMI EDITION

Nuditos, the platform of the professionals of fashion design of the future will start with strength in this 6th edition which will be held at the ARENA pavilion – Casa de Campo- in Madrid. Two important developments for the manufacturers who want to get to know the work of the designers: the Nuditos will make their debut at level two during the fair, and will have their own catwalk during the Children’s Fashion Week, the FIMI FASHION WEEK, for the very first time.

Today the revitalization committee, composed of experts from fashion and linked to fashion designers announced the selected ones to be part of the Nuditos. Over 30 students from schools of Alicante, Barcelona, León, Orihuela, Sabadell, Sevilla, Valencia and Valladolid will present their collections.

Creativity in design, the treatment of the presentations and a good choice of fabrics in order to develop collections has been essential during the decision making of the committee. José Vicente Plaza, communication and fashion expert and a member of the committee, clarifies that it is important to choose a present collection that can be manufactured afterwards. It is also important to facilitate the direct contact between the “NUDITOS” and the manufacturers and the resulting partnership. This is one of the major objectives set by FIMI Nuditos concerning the project.
