ASEPRI announces the retirement of its director, Lores Segura, after an outstanding career leading the organization, as well as the appointment of Eva Segura as the new director, who will take office on April 28, 2026.

During her time at ASEPRI, Lores Segura has played a key role in consolidating the association, driving strategic initiatives and strengthening its positioning at both national and international levels. Her leadership has contributed to the growth of the organization and to reinforcing its role as a benchmark in the children’s products sector.

“It has been an honour to be part of ASEPRI all these years. What I treasure most is the work shared with the team, as well as the support and trust of the Board of Directors, the collaboration of member companies and the sector as a whole, and the backing of institutions such as the Secretariat of State for Foreign Trade, ICEX, the Generalitat Valenciana, IVACE Internacional, Feria Valencia, Technology Centres, partner associations, collaborators, and the media, with whom we have built an enriching path”, said Lores Segura on the occasion of her retirement.

For her part, Eva Segura takes on the leadership of ASEPRI after 16 years heading the international department, with the aim of ensuring continuity of the solid work carried out to date while incorporating an innovative vision that will enable to successfully face new challenges in the sector. With a distinguished professional background in the international domain and a deep understanding of the children’s universe, she begins this new stage with enthusiasm, commitment, and a forward-looking perspective for the sector.

“I take on this challenge with great responsibility and motivation. My goal is to continue strengthening ASEPRI’s role alongside the team, with the support of the Board of Directors, driving new lines of work that bring value to our members and to the sector as a whole, focusing on the development of new innovative and sustainable projects aligned with market demands and global challenges, while reinforcing the internationalization of the sector”, stated Eva Segura.

The new director will be supported by ASEPRI’s technical team, whose work has been essential to the evolution of the organization founded 35 years ago, as well as by the Board of Directors, which has promoted this transition process with the aim of ensuring the continuity and stable future of the association.

ASEPRI’s president, M.ª Eugenia García, highlighted both the work of the outgoing director and the suitability of the new appointment: “Lores Segura has been a key figure in ASEPRI’s evolution, and her commitment has been highly significant for the organization. We begin this new stage with the confidence of having Eva Segura, whose work capacity and knowledge of the sector will be essential to continue moving forward with strength and a long-term vision.”

This leadership change reflects ASEPRI’s commitment to an orderly and solid transition, based on accumulated experience and a renewed strategic vision that will allow the organization to continue progressing and responding to the sector’s challenges.
