Día Mágico by FIMI and FIMI poised for May edition to be most international ever

The international children’s and junior fashion fair and the communion and occasion wear fashion fair, which take place at Feria Valencia from 12th to 14th May, are set to welcome more than 100 international buyers, who will be coming to the Spanish market to seek out the latest trends.

Día Mágico + FIMI is making ready for it most international edition ever. From 12th to 14th May, Feria Valencia will be hosting more than 100 foreign buyers from more than 20 countries.

Key players in occasion wear, footwear and children’s fashion, department stores, physical and online boutiques, franchise investors, distributors and marketplaces. A great number of fashion professionals will be visiting this major joint event to seek out the latest trends and designs in both communion and occasion wear and the spring/summer 2024 collections.

Belgium, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, France, Portugal, Turkey, Morocco, Libya, Madagascar, the United Arab Emirates… Día Mágico by FIMI and FIMI have invited VIP buyers from a number of target market countries. Premium boutiques in New York, Miami and Oregon will be visiting from the Unite States, for example, with this edition of the fair also hosting a substantial delegation of importers from Latin America and the Caribbean. Ecuador, Panama, EL Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic are just some of that group of countries that have confirmed they will be attending.

Día Mágico by FIMI and FIMI spring/summer are becoming increasingly international thanks to the work Día Mágico + FIMI have been doing with ASEPRI, in collaboration with IVACE and the Valencia Chamber of Commerce. In addition, exhibitors have put forward suggestions for VIP visitors. All parties working towards the same end has resulted in this being the most international edition of the fair ever.

“Foreign customers are particularly interested in coming to Feria Valencia from 12th to 14th next month. We are staging two important fairs together, creating a major industry event such as we have not done before. There will be double the number of products for buyers to see and a lot of work for them to do over the three days of the fair”, claims Alicia Gimeno, director of the two events, adding that foreign professionals “are grateful” that the two fairs are converging.

“We will be seeing Spanish visitors as well, of course,” she adds, “who are keen to be the first to discover which brands are exhibiting at the fair and take the opportunity to purchase for the upcoming season”.
