The Día Mágico by FIMI fashion show, Paseo Mágico, will take place on Friday, May 15, at 6:30 p.m.
The event will be inaugurated by Marian Cano García, Minister of Industry, Tourism, Innovation, and Trade.
Día Mágico by FIMI, the only leading international trade fair for children’s communion and special occasion fashion, is finalizing preparations for its next edition, which will bring together the leading national and international brands in the sector on May 15 and 16 at Feria Valencia.
The event, which will be inaugurated by the Minister of Industry, Tourism, Innovation, and Trade, Marian Cano García, will present a comprehensive offering encompassing fashion, footwear, and accessories collections, solidifying its position as a key hub for business and professional inspiration.
Among the confirmed exhibitors are names such as ANAVIG, MARLA, VARONES, MON AIR, BARCAROLA, QUERIDA PHILIPPA, MARÍA CATALÁN, SIENA, CREACIONES CHARO, HORTENSIA MAESO, KOBEZ, JOSEPHINE LUCAS, LILUS, MARIGAR, and MONTSERRAT LOZANO, among others, who will present their latest products in an environment designed to foster business and creativity.
The Valencian sector has a strong presence at Día Mágico by FIMI 2026. Almost a third of the exhibiting companies, around 29% of the total present at the fair, come from the Valencian Community, and will showcase the quality of their offerings at an event that reinforces the role of Valencian industry as one of the main creative and production hubs in the sector in Europe, highlighting its tradition, expertise, and capacity for innovation.
Alicia Gimeno, director of Día Mágico by FIMI, points out that “the sector is changing, but so is its capacity to adapt. However, Día Mágico by FIMI remains an essential event for companies specializing in formal wear and communion attire, as it is the only time of year when participating firms have the opportunity to meet with their regular clients, explore new business opportunities in other countries, and generate key contacts for the future development of their businesses. In this sense, Día Mágico by FIMI is much more than a trade fair; it is the space where the sector connects, discovers new business opportunities, and defines the keys to its future.”
International Projection: A Leap into New Markets
International projection continues to be one of the pillars of Día Mágico by FIMI. With the support of IVACE Internacional, the Valencia Chamber of Commerce, and ASEPRI, the event will attract nearly fifty international buyers from eleven countries.
More than 40 international buyers will participate this year in the reverse trade missions organized within the framework of the event. These professionals come from 10 strategic countries for the sector: Ireland, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Malta, the United States, Mexico, and Libya, among other key markets for the expansion of exhibiting companies.
With everything ready for its opening, Día Mágico by FIMI will once again position itself as the epicenter of children’s formal wear, offering a unique platform for business, inspiration, and networking among professionals.
Paseo Mágico: the official runway of formal wear
Once again, Paseo Mágico, the official runway of Día Mágico by FIMI, will be one of the fair’s main attractions. On Friday, May 15, at 6:30 p.m. at Feria Valencia, twelve leading brands will present their 2026 collections in a fashion show aimed at professionals and media.
