Valencia, January 22, 2026. The second day of Babykid Spain + FIMI has confirmed the fair’s role as the leading global showcase for innovation and trends in the children’s sector. With packed aisles and stands, exhibitors took advantage of the continuous influx of international and national buyers to present their new products, setting the trends for upcoming seasons in a dynamic and optimistic business atmosphere.
The Cutting Edge Takes Shape
The heart of the fair beats in the stands where brands unveil their novelties. This day featured technological launches, strategic collaborations, and historic celebrations that define the future of the industry.
In footwear, Stabifoot presented the babysoft Revelation technology, a concept that prioritizes 100% natural comfort and adaptation to the baby’s foot development, without rigidity, to promote natural formation. For Jesús Ballesta, sales manager of Étika, participating for the first time, BKS+FIMI is the perfect platform to “make ourselves known and present our new Barefoot collection. We want to give a boost to our children’s line and position ourselves in the same world as the major brands that inspire us.” Paco Torres, responsible for the Mustang Free line, shares the same opinion: “This fair gives us the opportunity to present our Barefoot children’s collections to national and international clients.”
Trends in Children’s Fashion
In the children’s fashion landscape, proposals for the next season focus on subtle evolution and craftsmanship. Foque introduces a palette of vanilla yellow, chocolate brown, and navy tones alongside its classic sky blues and pinks, reinforcing the use of timeless fabrics like poplin and check or animal prints. Boboli transports children to a playful autumn universe with “The Playful Woods,” where natural fabrics and an explosion of color with pinks, turquoises, oranges, and water greens predominate. Meanwhile, Creaciones Charo embodies the pinnacle of craftsmanship in occasion wear, with garments entirely handmade in an elegant palette of beige, raw white, and backgrounds in blue, pink, turquoise, and, as a new addition this year, green.
Novelties in Childcare
In childcare, innovation is placed at the service of families. The brand MAMIJUX has captured attention with its new angel chimes, a proposal that combines elegance and symbolism, offering from simple to more sophisticated designs, with optimal quality at an affordable price. For its part, Neko Slings presented its ‘Up&Down’ baby carrier backpack, lightweight and foldable, ideal for babies from 6 months who can already sit up.
Saro presented the renewal of its children’s bath line, with premium Portuguese fabrics that combine safety and design, and celebrated its 50th anniversary. “These 50 years are a gift,” stated its creative director, Ana Suárez, reaffirming the brand’s commitment to the value of ‘Made in Spain’ and to the fair.
The major novelty from Inglesina for 2026, presented exclusively, is the renewed System Quattro, which incorporates the Darwin Infant Recline Evo car seat with 20% more recline, impact absorption technology (I.S.A.), and thermoregulating fabrics. In parallel, it launches the Welcome Bed®, a co-sleeping crib designed for safe and bonding rest. In this same field, Cybex presents its Sirona T i-Size seat, with a 360° swivel base, advanced ventilation system, and XXL sun canopy for child comfort. Meanwhile, Grupo Jané used BKS + FIMI to debut its new image with the concept “This is Life” and launch the new Muum, a redesigned icon for ultra-compact folding without compromising comfort. Also, the renowned brand Chicco presented its new Bellagio Primo Como Lake stroller in a stand transformed into an art studio with “Live Painting,” highlighting its champagne tone and technical fabrics for greater ventilation and comfort.
The Toy as Protagonist
Furthermore, this year, Babykid Spain + FIMI has focused on reinforcing the importance of the toy sector, and over the 3 days, different brands have presented proposals as innovative as the nomad lamp from The Zoo Light “a luminous companion with 3 modes (night light, stroll, and reading) for quiet and fun moments for little hands.” Likewise, FABA evolves interactive audio by integrating not only storytelling, songs, and educational content into its platform but also associated games as a complement.
Fashion Shows that Preview the Future of Children’s Fashion
Parallel to commercial activity, the runways have reaffirmed their role as a loudspeaker for creativity and trends. Once again, Nuditos served as a launch platform for the future of design, hosting the innovative proposals of students from the EASD Castelló.
The second edition of the FIMI Kids Fashion Week was also held under the theme “Magical Autumn.” Thanks to the support of ICEX and the coordination of ASEPRI and Feria Valencia, established brands such as Abel&Lula, Boboli, Boston Kids, Canada House, Dadati, Mayoral, Nath Kids, Newness, NoraBabyBags by Cambrass TucTuc, Amarka Kids, Javilar Kids, Marae Kids, Monamur by Mou-Te, and Artesanías Filita – the latter with the support of the Junta de Castilla y León – presented their collections, confirming the vitality and commercial orientation of the event. These runway proposals directly dialogue with the trends in color, fabrics, and silhouettes that can be discovered in the stands, completing a comprehensive offer for the buyer.
The sixth edition of Babykid Spain + FIMI will conclude tomorrow, Friday, at Feria Valencia, having solidified its position as the indispensable meeting point for business, innovation, and trend. The final day is expected to be intense, with the conclusion of agreements and the farewell of an event that is already looking towards the future.
