BKS+FIMI 2026 grows and strengthens its leadership as Europe’s leading trade fair

The major event for the children’s sector, from January 21 to 23, combines the innovation of Babykid Spain with the celebration of the 100th edition of FIMI, bringing together nearly 735 exhibiting brands and international buyers from four continents.

 The 6th edition of Babykid Spain + FIMI will be held from Wednesday, January 21 to Friday, January 23 at Feria Valencia, in one of its most significant editions to date. This edition will be marked by an extraordinary milestone: the celebration of the 100th edition of FIMI, a historic event for the sector.

BKS+FIMI 2026 confirms its solid growth and consolidates its position as the leading professional platform for the children’s products industry in Europe. Now in its sixth edition, the fair has seen significant growth in both participation and exhibition space.

The number of exhibitors has increased by 7.21% compared to 2025, occupying two levels of Hall 7 and achieving a 50% increase in gross square meters compared to the previous edition. This growth reflects the event’s ability to attract visitors and the sector’s confidence in BKS+FIMI as a strategic space for business, innovation, and international visibility.

The 2026 edition will feature a total of 735 brands from 44 countries, covering the main categories in the children’s universe: 341 childcare brands, 138 children’s fashion and accessories brands, 196 toy brands, and 60 footwear brands. Footwear and toys will lead brand growth in 2026.

A platform with high commercial impact

Babykid Spain + FIMI has established itself as a key commercial meeting point for the children’s products sector, with pre-registration exceeding 5,000 visits from professionals related to all sectors of the Children’s Universe.

The edition will bring together 450 VIP international buyers from 56 countries and 4 continents, representing an increase of 52% over the previous edition.

Importers, large specialized chains stores, and leading department stores in their markets, with strong purchasing power and a clear long-term focus, reinforcing its position as a strategic event for the internationalization of Spanish brands. These invitations have been made possible thanks to the support of ICEX and IVACE and the collaboration of ASEPRI and Feria Valencia.

A historic celebration at the heart of the fair

The commemoration of FIMI’s 100th edition represents an exceptional milestone in the history of the sector. Celebrating 100 editions means celebrating a consolidated identity and a vision for the future.

To celebrate this legacy, visitors will be able to enjoy a special exhibition entitled “100 Editions of Children’s Fashion,” an immersive journey through the history of the fair. The commemorative fashion show “FIMI 100,” to be held on January 21 at 6:30 p.m., will showcase the evolution of children’s design. Participating in this fashion show are: Babidu, Babybol, Belan, Cuacuak, Dadati, Eva Schulz Showroom, Fina Ejerique, Foque, Granlei, Javilar Kids, Manuela Montero, Martín Aranda, Mayoral, Newness, Ponto por Ponto, Rapife, Sardon, Siena Hair Accessories, Tartaleta, and Tuc Tuc.

The celebration extends with the digital campaign #FIMI100, which collects memories and stories from the sector, and will culminate with an institutional gala dedicated to recognizing the people and companies that have made this journey possible.

FIMI Kids Fashion Week will present the collections of the leading brands: Abel & Lula, Amarca Kids, Artesania Filita, Boboli, Canada House, Dadati, Javilar, Marae Kids, Mayoral, Monamur by Mou-te, Nath by Tuc Tuc, Newness, Nora Baby Bags by Cambrass, The Boston Kids, and Tuc Tuc on January 21 and 22. Meanwhile, the NUDI-TOS Catwalk will connect emerging talent from EASD Castellón with the industry on January 22.

Aware of the needs of its visitors, Babykid Spain + FIMI will offer spaces such as ‘Lovely Fieras’ with specialized monitors for children located in Hall 7 and ‘Jaimun’, a comfortable area for breastfeeding and baby care, located in the office building.
