The fair, a global benchmark in the world of childhood, reaches a historic milestone with the 100th edition of FIMI, one of the oldest children’s fashion fairs in the world.
A total of 670 brands, 189 of which are new additions, have been confirmed two months before the event.
The celebration of 100 editions of FIMI will be the centrepiece and main attraction of the next Babykid Spain + FIMI event in 2026. This historic milestone, which consolidates FIMI as one of the oldest and most established children’s fashion fairs in the world, will shape the entire strategy and experience of the event.
The fair, a global benchmark in the children’s universe, will dress up to commemorate this legacy with a special program designed around the milestone. 670 brands from the children’s universe have already confirmed their participation in an edition that will be, above all, a recognition of the evolution, innovation, and leadership of the sector.
An edition that pays tribute to history and looks to the future
The celebration of FIMI’s 100 editions is the central theme of this event. To commemorate this historic milestone, a special program of activities has been designed to highlight the impact of the fair on the development of children’s fashion over the decades.
Visitors will be able to enjoy the exhibition “100 Editions of Children’s Fashion,” an immersive journey through the history of FIMI via photographs, iconic garments, and archives, organized by Feria Valencia. The creativity and evolution of the sector will come to life in the special commemorative “FIMI 100” fashion show.
The celebration will extend beyond the exhibition grounds with the #FIMI100 digital campaign, designed to collect stories and memories from the entire community on social media. The grand finale will be the “FIMI 100” institutional gala, an emotional event recognizing the people and companies that have been fundamental pillars of the fair throughout its century-long history.
Innovation and business in an optimized environment
Alongside the celebration, the fair maintains its firm commitment to internationalization and the generation of business opportunities. The new layout in Hall 7 of Feria Valencia—with one level dedicated to childcare and toys and another to fashion, footwear, and accessories—is designed to optimize the professional buyer’s experience.
The fair will have the essential support of institutions such as ICEX and IVACE to expand its global reach and attract international buyers from all 5 continents.
BKS+FIMI, co-organized by ASEPRI and Feria Valencia, demonstrates that its 6th edition is not just a look back at the past, but a launch pad for a solid future, where legacy meets digital transformation and new consumer habits to continue driving the business of children’s fashion, childcare, accessories, children’s footwear, and toys.
