Feran: over 68 years of specialized distribution

From 1957 to today: A history of close relationships, trust, and commitment to books and education.

Feran was founded in 1957 with a clear mission: to establish close and lasting relationships with bookstores, stationery shops, and toy stores throughout Spain. From day one, a dedication to service has not just been a slogan, but the company’s DNA.

For decades, Feran has grown alongside the Spanish publishing and stationery sectors, expanding its catalog, consolidating its national presence, and building its own logistics model focused on efficiency. Today, more than 110 people in 7 departments, 150,000 catalog items, and 1,000 daily orders demonstrate that the spirit of 1957 remains unchanged.

But Feran doesn’t just distribute. Feran also creates.

Órbita is our exclusive distribution area, specializing in internationally renowned children’s and young adult publishers such as Thule, Wonder Ponder, and Catapulta, as well as manufacturers of games and creative materials like Kosmos, Graine Creative, and The Happy Gang. Órbita is more than just a catalog; it’s a movement: a carefully curated selection for the most inquisitive minds, accompanied by specialized communication and marketing services so that our suppliers, bookstores, and stationery shops can grow together.

Feran is a family business passionate about education and culture, with two ways of working: general distribution through over 3,500 points of sale, and exclusive distribution through Órbita for those seeking to stand out.

Three values that have defined them from the beginning:

• Closeness: Close and lasting relationships based on trust and direct contact
• Perseverance: A constant pursuit of quality and educational value in every product
• Belonging: A shared sense of family that grows over time

After more than 68 years, Feran maintains its identity and remains what it has always been: a specialized distributor that supports bookstores, stationery shops, and toy stores at every stage. Because they understand that behind every order there is a bookstore with dreams, and behind every bookstore there are communities that need books.
