Innovation, catwalk and trends, this will be the most experiential program of BabyKid Spain + FIMI.

BabyKid Spain + FIMI, the fair that unites childcare and children’s fashion and that will be held from 26 to 28 January 2023 at Feria Valencia, will surprise visitors with a great agenda of activities and unique spaces for all participants.

València, January 12, 2023.- Fashion and childcare fashion shows, live shootings, two areas of innovation and design with the great trends of the season, presentations, live musicBabyKid Spain + FIMI is preparing for a unique edition full of activities and new areas that will surprise visitors and exhibitors.

Therefore, from January 26 to 28, 2023, professionals of the children’s universe will be able to see at Feria Valencia all the novelties and trends of more than 400 brands and enjoy an extensive program of activities and new spaces that will make their visit complete and totally experiential.

The highlight of this edition is the return of the catwalk and with very special novelties. The FIMI KIDS FASHION WEEK fashion show is back, a reference catwalk that will show the latest trends of the season and to which brands such as Javilar, Creaciones Charo, Martín Aranda, Mimosines, La Ormiga and Tartaleta have already confirmed their participation.  In addition, for the first time BKS + FIMI will feature the BKS CHILDCARE WEEK fashion show, where the latest trends in childcare will be on display and where brands such as Asalvo, Cambrass and Kikaboo will be present. Two actions that give great visibility, media coverage and, moreover, are essential for the purchase decision.

For its part, BabyKid Spain + FIMI, which will be held again from Thursday to Saturday, will premiere a new space: Go Green, an area in which innovation, sustainability, design and technology are the protagonists and where you can see products that meet these characteristics.

Fashion schools will also have their own space where they can showcase their talent and come into contact with manufacturers and points of sale. This is the Nuditos space, an initiative that builds a pool of talent and creates a bridge between manufacturers and designers. There will also be a live shooting of fashion brands with a stage created exclusively for this purpose. Two days of photo shoots will be in charge of two great fashion photographers: the Spanish Marcos Soria and the Canadian Emily Konya.

In addition, on Thursday BabyKid Spain + FIMI will hold an afterwork at Foro Centro with music and catering. An essential initiative for networking and sharing experiences between buyers and manufacturers.

The spaces of BabyKid Spain + FIMI

In addition to all these activities, which will be accompanied by live music and areas for relaxation and coffee breaks, BabyKid Spain + FIMI will once again open spaces to make it easy for all professionals.

An example of this is Jaimum, designed for moms and dads who come with their kids to the fair or Lovely Fieras, the children’s area with monitors specialized in children to leave the kids while parents do business.

“There will also be a small Valencian exhibition under the title València LifeStyle, where the visitors can see a “Fallas monument” and get closer to the Mediterranean, where we have a unique way of seeing and living life,” says Alicia Gimeno, director of BabyKid Spain + FIMI.

It should be noted that for the first time the Meeting Box will be created, a meeting space focused on exhibitors and visitors looking for a private space  to close meetings or conduct interviews. In addition, the Sustainability Office of the Valencia Chamber of Commerce, the Commercial Agent’s Club and the Official Association of Economists of Valencia (COEV) will also be present at the fair, offering exhibitors and visitors services that will help them in their business.

In 2023, BKS + FIMI bets on the social struggle within the sector hand in hand with the Valencian national NGO ‘Pequeño Deseo’, whose mission is to fulfill wishes of children who are seriously ill and who will be telling their experience and how to be part of it throughout the fair.

Thanks to the support of IVACE International and ICEX, more than 250 foreign visitors will visit BKS + FIMI. Specifically, buyers from more than 40 countries from 5 continents will be at Feria Valencia looking for the latest trends and novelties of the new collections in what is the reference fair of the sector, unique for uniting childcare and children’s fashion.

Italy, United States, United Kingdom, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Portugal, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador, Israel, Japan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Dominican Republic, Netherlands, Taiwan, Morocco, Libya, Slovenia and Croatia are just some of the countries of origin of the professionals who have already confirmed their attendance.
